Vehicle could help survive the economic slump

Calhoun resident Harry Simmons, earlier known for his flying machine, has a new toy.

Simmons said "Driving the vehicle from Morgantown to Calhoun got a lot of pointing, waving, and people not paying attention to the road as they pass by and gawk."

The vehicle is made by Wildfire Motors. It has a 650 cc 2 cylinder engine and a 4 speed manual transmission.

As an added bonus, it is completely street legal.

Simmons says it's advertised to get up to 70 miles per gallon, but realistically it could get 50 to 60.

The vehicle is titled and registered as a motorcycle, so Harry had to get his motorcycle permit in order to drive it. No helmet is required.
