A cold front is moving into the region, according to the National Weather Service with much colder temperatures.

It's been a warm weekend with the ladybugs seeking shelter like mad, with the temperatures in the 60s and 70s.

This week will see highs barely reaching 50 degrees with lows in the 40s.

The forecast is calling for even colder temperatures by mid-week.

Beckley will have a low of 27 degrees on Tuesday and it will dip to 18 on Snowshoe Mountain by Tuesday night.

The NSW's extended forecast shows temperatures rebounding to the 60s by next Friday.
