Ocie "Granny" Ingram, 84 of Ripley, WV died Tuesday, December 11, 2001, in Eldercare of
West Virginia, Ripley.
She was born April 7, 1917, in Calhoun County, WV a daughter of the late Harry and Cora Metz
Koon. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, JoAnn Hurst of Ravenswood, WV; two brothers, Sheldon Koon
of Fayetteville, WV and Carl Koon of Barberton, Ohio; one sister, Marjorie Johnson of St.
Albans, WV; three grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest A. Ingram; three
children, Gary Lee Ingram, Charles Edward Ingram and an infant daughter; three brothers and a
sister.
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 15 at 2 p.m. in the John H. Taylor
Funeral Home of Spencer. The Reverend Noble Adkins will officiate. Burial will be in the Bowers
Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. |
