Delores E. Jarvis Bias, 65 - Millwood

Delores E. Jarvis Bias, 65, of Millwood, West Virginia, Passed away October 16, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, after an extended illness.

She was born July 18, 1943 at Chloe, Calhoun County WV, a daughter of Nell Siers Jarvis of Spencer, WV and the late Denver Jarvis.

Delores was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Evergreen Hills, and was employed at Pechiney Rolled Products of Ravenswood, WV.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Otis "Gene" Bias of Millwood; daughter, Alison Bias of Dunbar, WV; 2 stepdaughters, Linda and Debbie and their families all of Texas; sisters, Garnet Hersman of Ripley, WV and Karen Flesher of Spencer; 2 nieces, Deanna Cunningham of Kenna, WV and Chrissy Flesher of Spencer; 2 nephews, Eric Hersman of Ripley and Jeff Hersman of Boulder, Nevada.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Delores will be sadly missed by a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 19 at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV. Rev. Mark Price will officiate. Interment will be in the Ravenswood Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday, Oct. 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
