EFFORT TO REVIVE A PEP BAND - CHS Alumni Interested?

(10/31/2008)
Submitted by Samantha Cason, Secretary
WVU Extension Service- Calhoun County

In years past a "Pep Band" would play lively tunes at home boys and girls basketball games.

While the tradition has died-off around the state, many alumni have shown an interest in resurrecting the Calhoun County pep band.

Current students (middle school and up) as well as alumni would be invited to participate in bringing back the tradition. The revival of the pep band would bring a unique atmosphere of spirit and enthusiasm to Calhoun County Basketball games.

If you are interested in reviving the Calhoun County Pep Band, please fill out the needs assessment form below.

Completed forms may be mailed to WVU Extension Service, P.O. Box 680, Grantsville, WV 26147 or e-mailed to Curtis.Garretson@mail.wvu.edu or faxed to 304-354-6332.
