SON OF FORMER CALHOUN WOMAN DIES IN 50-FOOT-FALL

The son of a former Washington District woman has died in a 50-foot fall off a rock cliff. Charles R. Moss, 44, of Ravenswood is the son of the former Mary J. Moore of Calhoun, who married Floyd H. Moss of Ripley. A Pleasants County official says Moore probably lost his bearings during darkness, plunging off a cliff in Mason County. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, with visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be 3 p.m. in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Wallback, with Masonic graveside services.
