BID APPROVED FOR UPPER WEST FORK PARK WALKING TRACK

The Upper West Fork Park walking trail could be close to becoming reality. The Calhoun Commission met yesterday afternoon in a special meeting to open bids for the project, trying to get the work done before the snow flies. A & E Asphalt of Spencer was the only bidder for the grant project, bidding $45,864. The walking track has been in the works for several years, but more recently has been hung up in Charleston.
