Emergency personnel load woman in ambulance after Millstone accident

Two accidents were reported yesterday after the first showers fell on county highways in weeks, creating a slippery situation.

A 28-year-old female driver was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System after the truck she was driving went out of control on the Millstone straight on Rt. 16.

Reports indicated she suffered chest injuries from impact with a steering wheel.

That accident happened at 1:28 p.m. with Calhoun EMS and the Arnoldsburg VFD and the State Police responding.

The Upper West Fork VFD responded to an accident just north of Minnora on Rt. 16 at 5:22 p.m., with no reported injuries.
