A pick-up truck loaded with firewood went out of control on Route 16 south
of Arnoldsburg about noon Monday. The driver of the vehicle Don Metheney
of Crummies Creek was uninjured. "I had my seat belt on," he said.
The vehicle lost its load of wood as it went over the road bank, then lodged
against some trees a few feet from the West Fork.
Calhoun EMS and the Arnoldsburg VFD responded to the accident scene.
