A number of Arnoldsburg students from Head Start and pre-school through fourth grade will participate in the 41st WV Molasses Festival Royalty contest.
Crowning of the King and Queen will be 6 p.m. Thursday, September 25 at the Arnoldsburg Community Park.
The annual event is an Arnoldsburg Elementary School PTO fundraiser. Last year's contest raised $9,117 for the school.
This year's contestants are:
Head Start - Kolton Garrett and Tysa James
Preschool - Garret Vineyard and Kaitlyn Marks
Mrs. Benson's Kindergarten - Meaghan McCumbers
Mrs. Prusack's Kindergarten - Robert Facemire and Autumn Siers
Mr. Thomas' First Grade - Mason Bailey and Brandie Allen
Mrs. Chenoweth's First Grade - Mason Nicholas and Madison Dennis
Mrs. Hicks' Second Grade - Dylan Anderson and Nakia Phillips
Mrs. Webb's Second Grade - Parks Metheny and Cameron Smith
Mrs. Westfall's Third Grade - Preston Neely and Brianna Marks
Mrs. Miller's Third Grade - Brennen Ferrell and Kinely Hosey
Mr. Queen's Fourth Grade - Allen Metheny and Victoria Allen
Mrs. Sims' Fourth Grade - Kaleb Hall and Sara Hough
