JAKE KRACK AND CROSSFIRE WILL PERFORM - 41st WV Molasses Fest

Calhoun's fiddlin' Jake Krack will be performing at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the WV Molasses Festival in Arnoldsburg. Jake won the first place Old-time Fiddle award and Performer of the Festival award at the 73rd Galax Fiddlers Convention 2008 in Galax, Virginia. This is the third time Jake has won first place in the internationally known venue. Jake is known across the USA, recognized as one of the country's finest young fiddle players. See jakekrack.com

Crossfire, a newly formed up-tempo country band, has been playing fairs and festivals this year, performing at 7 p.m. at the WV Molasses Festival on September 27. The band has just made their first CD. Members are Sherry Wade lead female vocalist, Rick Lane bass guitar and vocals, Fred McCune keyboard and vocals, Tim Groves drums and vocals, and Fred Varda lead guitarist.
