I had the pleasure of riding to Gassaway Hospital with Buddy Watkins for his doctors appointment and everything checked out all right. On the way back from the doctors we road back over Servia road and down Walker Creek road. Lots of apples and hickory nuts hazel nuts, and paw paws. I'm thinking it might be a hard winter.

Heather and the babies were here for a visit. Ben was able to spend the night. His trucking business is doing well despite the gas prices for the truckers.

Early morning Tuesday a small tornado hit the garden and laid the corn down to the ground. Never seen anything like it. It had big swirls and near tore up the beans.

Chestnuts that Daddy liked so well are not producing. Can't understand why. Pine tree out back of the house has a lot of sap, but it's only one tree and I want to know if the sap is good for anything?

Leaves are turning and starting to fall. It's lovely.

Everyone have a wonderful week!
