SCHOOL BOARD WILL HEAR UPDATE ON PLEASANT HILL REPAIRS

The Calhoun School Board will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the board office at Mt. Zion. The board will hear an update on the repairs being made at Pleasant Hill School by administrator Frank Tetrick. The board will be approving possible changes to the Bullying, Harassment and Intimidation Policy and the Racial, Sexual, Religious/Ethnic Harassment, Violence and Hazing Policy. They will also consider approving changes in the Valedictorian/Salutatorian Policy, and changes related to graduation requirements, grading and work-based learning. Also on the agenda, student transfers, home school requests, volunteer agreements, and some personnel changes. Also for approval, two transportation requests. The next board meeting will be October 13.
