Everyday someone in our community struggles with a drug or alcohol addiction. Many have overcome the odds and are winning their battles. It is them we could like to honor with Voices for Recovery!
September 2008 has been declared the National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. With a desire to encourage those who have made great strides in overcoming addiction and those who are still in the battle, the Calhoun Middle High School Youth Force would like to spotlight success stories within our community.
If you know someone who would be willing to share their battle and success with us through a short story and photo (the photo will be provided if their story is selected), please contact Shari Johnson at talk2shari@gmail.com
Those who are selected will have their photo and story in The Voices for Recovery Display in Grantsville the last week of September.
