Emergency workers prepare to transport
woman injured in Big Springs accident

A 43-year-old woman reportedly received a dislocated shoulder Saturday morning when her car went out of control on State Rt. 16 near Jackson Hill at Big Springs.

The woman was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System following the 7:30 a.m. accident, with a male child who appeared to have escaped serious injury.

Calhoun EMS and the Grantsville VFD responded to the scene.

Car leaves Rt. 16 and strikes tree
