MIDDLE SCHOOL BOOSTERS ELECT OFFICERS

The Calhoun Middle School Athletic Boosters held their first meeting of the 2008-2009 school year Wednesday, August 20. Officers elected are, president, Irona Yeager; vice president, Crystal Kendall; secretary, Lisa Sheldon and co-treasurers; Dee Starcher and Patty Hall. The boosters have some fun upcoming activities planned. Stop by the concession stand at the Demolition Derby on Saturday, September 6 and get something to eat and a cold drink from the boosters and help the middle school athletes. A welcome back "Luau" will be held for all middle school students Saturday, September 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the commons area at the school. The boosters will be sponsoring a Corn Hole Tournament and the annual Ducky Race at this year's Molasses Festival.
