Leota "Jakey" Swiger, 75, of Grantsville, West Virginia died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. She was born December 26, 1932 in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Ira and Julia Sidwell Bennett. She is survived by a daughter, Roberta Law of Belmont, WV; son-in-law, Robert Law of Grantsville, WV; and her caregivers, Linda, Connie, Anna and Brenda. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Millard Lott, second husband, Charles Swiger, and an infant son, Millard E. Lott; 2 brothers, and one sister. She was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church, Big Springs, WV. Funeral services will be held 12-noon Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Matt Morrison will officiate. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Grantsville. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.
