ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS HIRED FOR CALHOUN-MIDDLE HIGH SCHOOL

The Calhoun Board of Education, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Jane Lynch, hired Jeanne Montgomery as Assistant Principal at Calhoun Middle-High School.

During Monday evening's special meeting, the board also approved the hiring of Kelli Whytsell as Attendance Director/Assistant Principal at Calhoun Middle-High School.

Longtime CM-HS secretary Deb Goff has moved to Pleasant Hill Elementary School.

Among other hirings:

- Margaret Bennett, Elementary Technology Integration Specialist

- David Derby, elementary teacher at Pleasant Hill Elementary (3-2 vote)

- Kyre Ana Minney, elementary teacher at CM-HS

- Brad Stump, custodian III at Pleasant Hill Elementary

- Amber Price, Title I Reading Specialist, Pleasant Hill Elementary

- Jeffery Church, Assistant Softball Coach

No application was received for a reading mentor teacher at Arnoldsburg El elementary.

Job postings issued for half-time health teacher at CM-HS, south end activity bus driver (Heads Up), elementary teacher at PHE, and assistant varsity boy's basketball coach.

Resignations accepted from Kelley Clevenger half-time health teacher at CM-HS; Clyde Knotts, south end activity bus driver for Heads Up; Rebecca Miller, elementary teacher at PHE.

The next board meeting is scheduled for August 25.

Longtime CM-HS secretary Deb Goff has moved to Pleasant Hill Elementary School.
