Nancy V. Withrow Sigmon, 61, of Chloe, West Virginia, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston. She was born December 9, 1946, a daughter of the late Mildred Lee and William Alton Simonds. She is survived by her children Gary (Sherry) Withrow of Inwood WV, Annette (Roger) Osborne of Charleston WV, and Stephanie (Timmy) Metheney of Stinson WV; grandchildren, Abigail and Aubrey Withrow, Roy and Aunna Osborne, and Austin and Bryer Metheney. Also surviving are brothers, Samuel Simonds of Charleston, and Charles Simonds of Amma WV; a sister, Patricia Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Short. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, August 2 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg WV. Kenneth Tanner and Rev. Dewey Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in the Clover Cemetery, Spencer WV. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
