Dannie P. Vannoy, 86, of Millstone, WV died Monday, November 26, 2001 at Health South in
Parkersburg, WV>
He was a son of the late Hillary L. and Hattie Bourne Vannoy. He was a member of the Minnora
IOOF #246 and Sand Ridge Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Paul L. Vannoy and his wife, Junell and Ron G. Vannoy and his
wife Renae all of Mineral Wells, WV. Also surviving are two sisters, Geraldine Pratt of Alma,
WV and Genevieve Davis of Orlando, Florida, three grandchildren and four great great
grandchildren.
Mr. Vannoy was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Bush Vannoy in 1991, a son, Edward
Earl Vannoy, two brothers, Edward and Kester Vannoy and a granddaughter, Tina Sue
Vannoy.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home,
Arnoldsburg, WV. Reverend Leon Strickland will officiate. Interment will be in the Sand Ridge
Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. The family requests, in lieu
of flowers, donations be made to Sand Ridge Cemetery Fund. Donations may be made at
Calhoun Banks.
