Charles Willard Fitzhugh, 57, of Lancaster, South Carolina, died July 19, 2008 in an accident near Alum Bridge. Born December 28, 1957, he was a son of Betty Fitzhugh of Monongah, West Virginia and the late Jack Fitzhugh. He was a millwright for Progress Energy. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife Dianna Marlene Hickman Fitzhugh; 3 daughters, Melanie Ann (Scott) Sisk of Carolina, WV, Stephanie Diane Roberts and Barbara Michelle Fitzhugh of Lancaster, SC; a son, Michael Lee (Rachael) Roberts of Glenville, WV; brother, Jack Fitzhugh of Reading, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Robbie, Chaz, and Anna. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 23 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the Meadow Lane Cemetery at Glenville with Military Graveside Rites. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
