TWO SENT TO HOSPITALS AFTER SUNDAY ACCIDENTS

An 86 year old woman was transported to Minnie Hamilton Health System Sunday after receiving injuries in a two vehicle accident. The collision occurred at the Rt. 33-119 intersection at Millstone about 9:50 a.m. Calhoun EMS and the Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call, along with Sgt. J.E. Skidmore of the WV State Police. A man was injured near Walnut Road off Rt. 16 Chloe, in a collision between an ATV and a Chevy S-10 pickup, early Sunday afternoon. The approximately 25-year-old man was air-lifted to a Charleston hospital by HealthNet. Calhoun EMS and the Upper West Fork Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident.
