Letha Parson Dowell Lane, 80 - Normantown

Letha Parson Dowell Lane, 80, of Normantown, West Virginia, passed away July 16, 2008 at her home.

She was born July 17, 1927 in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Harrison and Agglentine Parsons

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lane of Normantown; two brothers, Roy Parsons and Doy Parsons both of Grantsville WV; two sons, Richard Dowell (Tammy) of Lockney WV, and Donnie Dowell (Sue) of Cleveland OH; five daughters, Janice Smith (Ace) of Lockney, Carol Cozart (Gene) of Ravenna OH, Linda Taylor (Mike) of Lockney, Louise Wolverton (Dusty) of Big Root WV, and Jean Ross of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son, James; 4 brothers, 4 sisters; granddaughter, Lynn; and daughter-in-law, Connie.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Kevin Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Hunt Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
