Ruby Gae Siers Jones, 85, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away July 10, 2008 at the home of her daughter in Clarksburg, WV. She was born January 5, 1923 on Sears Run, Minnora, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Melissa Cook Siers. She was married November 24, 1941 to Bennie D. Jones, who preceded her in death November 12, 1994. Surviving are sons, Bobby D. Jones of Fairmont WV, and Johnny D. (Gloria) Jones of Grantsville; daughter, Cathy S. (Steve) Nicholson of Clarksburg; brother, Olin Siers of Mt. Zion WV; 4 grandchildren, Amy E. Whited of Morgantown WV, Tonya L. Carnes of Liberty WV, Marvin J. Jones of Norfolk VA, and Bernard D. Jones of Myrtle Beach SC; 3 step grandchildren, Steve Whited of Grantsville, Kelly Disena of Willow Springs NC, and Shana Nicholson; 3 great grandchildren, Brandon Derek and Alisa Jones of Petersburg WV, and Cassie Jones of Greenville, WV. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Esta Jones, and five brothers, Ermine, Holden, Ronzell, Doy and Bernard Siers. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 14 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Carroll McCauley will officiate. Interment will be in the Sanders Cemetery on Leading Creek at Big Springs. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
