SLOW DOWN AT WIRT'S GREENCASTLE BRIDGE THURSDAY

Inspection Greencastle Bridge/Wirt CR 6 West Virginia Division of Highways, District Three, has scheduled a routine inspection of the Greencastle Bridge on CR 6 in Wirt County, on Thursday, June 26, 2008, according to Rusty Roten, District Engineer. The inspection will take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. During this time, the bridge will be closed for 20 minute intervals to accommodate periods of inspection and then opened to allow for the passage of traffic. Motorists should expect delays, and are asked to plan accordingly or seek an alternative route. Additionally, motorists are reminded to use caution in the inspection area. If inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances arise, the inspection schedule may change.
