Lion Henry Cooper said the local club will meet November 24 at 1 p.m. to repair the Christmas lights for the town of Grantsville, and the following day they will erect them.

The club also made plans to help with the Christmas Parade in Grantsville on November 30, and also sponsor Santa's visit. The parade will be the climax of Hometown Country Christmas, held at the courthouse.

The Lion's Club building committee announced that a new furnace had been installed in the club's building, and additional cabinets will be installed in the kitchen.

A zone meeting will be held on November 26 and the annual District Governor's and Ladies Night will be held on December 10, with the Pleasant Hill Homemakers providing the meal.
