LK CRESTING NINE FEET ABOVE FLOOD STAGE AT GLENVILLE - Photos To Follow

The Little Kanawha River is expected to crest at nine feet above flood stage at Glenville today, near 32 feet.

Only 5 floods on record at Glenville have exceeded the 32 feet level.

The river was at 27.9 feet shortly before midnight.

Flood stage is 23 feet.

At 31.8 feet, water affects Go-Mart, Citgo, Pizza Hut and other buildings near the intersection of South Lewis and Main Streets, and the greater Glenville area.

Areas along Rt. 5 are flooded and closed between Glenville, Grantsville and Burnsville.
