Calhoun EMS transports injured man

Truck extensively damaged after rollover

A pick-up truck rolled over doing extensive damage on Pleasant Hill about 11:45 p.m. Sunday, injuring the driver. The injured man was reported as Dennis Goff, 20, of Big Bend. He was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center by Calhoun EMS for treatment and evaluation.

The accident happened on State Route 16, two miles north of Grantsville. Goff wandered down a logging road, where he was discovered by emergency workers.Police are investigating.

The Grantsville VFD responded to the call, and later Monday morning returned to the accident scene to search for a second victim, after Goff apparently told authorities there was another person in the vehicle. The second occupant reportedly came to Minnie Hamilton Health Care later.
