SUMMER READING REWARDS FOR CALHOUN KIDS |
(06/17/2008) |
The Calhoun County Library is partnering with Arnoldsburg and Pleasant Hill Elementary Title I and PTO's to provide a fun summer reading program. All Calhoun K-4th graders are invited to join the Summer Reading Rewards Program. The program also includes home-schooled children. For those who have not already signed-up, all they have to do is: Sign-up at the Calhoun County Library in Grantsville or The Master's Bouquet in Arnoldsburg, where they can pick-up a Book Tracker. Read books and stories for their age group and complete the Book Tracker. Turn-in the completed tracker at the library or Master's Bouquet and pick out a prize. Children may complete as many Book Trackers as they like and collect a prize each time they turn one in. A treasure chest of goodies to choose from awaits at the library. Special prize packages will be given to 2 children from each grade who reads the most this summer. The program starts June 9 and ends August 8, 2008. For more information stop by the library and see Amy or Lisa, or call 354-6300.
