PROPERTY CRIMES CONTINUE TO PLAGUE COUNTY

(05/26/2008)
What appears to be a significant increase in property crime continues in Calhoun.

Police were called to a Norman Ridge residence Sunday where tools, a weed eater and other items were reportedly stolen.

During recent weeks, the county has experienced several breaking and enterings, the theft of numerous ATVs and the theft of lots of gasoline.

State Police have not released a list of the thefts or their locations, but did confirm there was a breaking and entering at Cain's Vet Clinic at Big Bend about three weeks ago.

Other residences and hunting camps have also been the objects of thieves.
