![]() Car lands in creek bed near Stinson after crashing against guardrail A car traveling north on State Rt. 16 near Stinson crashed into the creek late Sunday night, sending the driver to Roane General Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Car breaks end-cap of guardrail, The car reportedly went left of center, crashed into the end cap of a steel guardrail, peeling it back about 10 feet, and knocking the bumper from the car, the vehicle then landed about 125 feet down-stream from the point of impact. Calhoun EMS and the Upper West Fork VFD responded to the scene. Sgt. Jeff Skidmore of the Grantsville Detachment investigated the accident. |
