Lovie Fae Kerby, 82 - Mt. Zion

Lovie Fae Kerby, 82, of Mt. Zion was suddenly called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday May 13, at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born March 16, 1926 , at Richardsonville in Calhoun County. She was the daughter of the late Harley Pete and Ruth (Duskey) Starcher. She retired From the B.F. Goodrich in Grantsville, in 1980, where she had been president Of the labor union.

She is survived by one son, Wilbert Dale (Dorothy) Kerby of Grantsville, WV; three daughters, Jeanie (Richard) Thomas of Barberton, Ohio, Mary (Joe) Webb of Grantsville, and Ruth Kerby of Mt. Zion, WV; two sisters Freeda McCune of Barberton, Ohio, and Joyce (Robert) Bouvia of Madison, Ohio; three brothers, Golden (Thelma) Starcher of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Charles (Annabell) Starcher of Grantsville, and Robert Wayne (Eula) Starcher of Parkersburg, WV; five sisters-in-law, Eula Nelson of Vienna, WV, Arlene Kerby, and Ellen Starcher of Parkersburg, Dessel Starcher of Barberton Ohio, and Pat Kerby of Spencer

Also surviving are six grandchildren Robert Thomas, Michele Thomas, and Rodney (Shanon) Webb all of Barberton, Ohio, Teresa (Herbie) Toney of Elizabeth, Tonya (David) Williams, and LaShon Kerby of Shelbyville, TN; six great-grandchildren, Cody and Jacob Webb, Erica, Joshua, Dana and Matthew Toney, all of whom she loved dearly; special friends, W. Eugene and Vickie Dorsey of Creston, WV.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Wilbert Kerby; three brothers William, J.T. and Buster Starcher.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday May 18th, at the Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth, with visitation Saturday May 17, from 6-9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Sunday.

Interment will be in the Brymer Cemetery, Calhoun County.
