LOCAL GILMER COUNTY RESULTS

Incumbent Mickey Metz (1,351) was re-elected Sheriff in Gilmer, defeating Sam Cutlip (422) and Berk Reed (169). Brian Kennedy defeated incumbent Reta Kight for County Commission. Gary Wolfe was unopposed for Assessor. Gerry Hough was unopposed for Prosecuting Attorney. Bob Minigh and Carol Reed Wolfe, unopposed for Magistrate. Misty Pritt (1,384) and Alton Skinner II (1,184) elected to Gilmer school board, defeating Kelly Radcliff (964). The Democratic Party had a turn-out of 55%. The Republican Party had a turn-out of 40%. House of Delegates race published elsewhere.
