Calhoun Clerk Richard Kirby says 225 Calhouners have taken advantage of early voting, which continues this week in the clerk's office.

A final check on the operation of Calhoun's electronic voting machines will take place Tuesday at the courthouse at 10 a.m., said Kirby.

The operational check will certify the machines for the May 13th primary.

"The test will be open to representatives of the political parties, candidates, the press and the public," he said.

Election day is May 13th.
