MONDAY'S COMMISSION MEETING PREPARING FOR ELECTION

The Calhoun Commission will review a number of grants and grant proposals Monday morning at 9 a.m., including, the Sand Ridge-Rt 16 waterline extension, the replacement of the courthouse steps, court security grant, Upper West Fork Park trail grant, among others. A discussion will be held regarding the renewal of the county's Emergency Service Levy. The commission will process a number of items related to the May 13th election, including the final testing of the machines Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. The canvass of the election will be held on May 16th. Reports will be heard from a number of agencies and boards, resignations and appointments to those boards.
