Carolyn F. Patton, 66, of Spencer, W.Va., died Nov. 8, 2001, at the Ravenswood Care Center, Ravenswood, WV. She was born March 11, 1935, in Montgomery, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas B. and Lena Johnston Feagans. She was a former teacher and principal in Roane County and attended the Spencer Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, William P. Patton Jr.; one daughter, Charlotte L. parks of Germantown, Tenn.; one son, Drew C. Patton of Spencer; one brother, Thomas Feagans of State College, Pa.; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at 3 p.m. at the Spencer Presbyterian Church with Minister Ronald Buckalew officiating. There will be no visitation. The body was donated to the West Virginia Anatomical Board. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Spencer Presbyterian Church, 594 Parkersburg Road, Spencer, WV 25276.
