RAYANNA'S STRUGGLE FOR LIFE COMES TO AN END - Funeral Arrangements Are Incomplete

(01/24/2001)
By Dianne Weaver

Rayanna Lancaster's long struggle for life ended last night at Cleveland Clinic. Her husband Chad Lancaster and parents, Homer and Barbara Wilson, were at her side. Rayanna was twenty-seven.

She had returned to Cleveland suffering from a virus which struck after she received a double lung transplant. After countless prayers, cards and messages for her recovery, she miraculously improved and returned to her home for a brief period.

Her body is being returned to the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, where arrangements are incomplete.

Donations to help with medical costs may still be made to Chad Lancaster, c/o Angie Hersman, P. O. Box 989, Grantsville WV 26147.

Many readers of The Hur Herald have inquired about her condition and expressed concern for her well-being. We express our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Lancaster and Wilson families. God Bless.
