Everyone needs to sit down if you are not already. I have a major announcement to make. Kathy has done some manual labor over the weekend. How about that?

I bought some Petunias at Parsons One Stop at Pleasant Hill and had a major attack of ambition to redo my flower beds. I had to move some blocks to create new beds and I am seriously feeling my ambition today. Wow. After I worked so diligently on those beds, Brian failed to close the fence on his way out to work. Do you see where this is going?

As I was getting the kids ready for school, I noticed something go by the window. I was hoping it was the just the dog so there wouldn't have to be any near-death experiences at my house. I ran outside to find a cow finding its way to my flowers. She saw me coming and figured that stepping into a woman's yard that is feeling her ambition was perhaps using bad judgment. You think? She felt the need to get out of dodge.

Good call, sister. Brian will reap it when he returns home, I guarantee it. I'm thinking that a couple extra hundred dollars this week should earn my forgiveness.

I also need to add that love is in the air at the Taylor Farm. If you recall, Ethan used to call these P.D.A.'s "circus tricks" when he was small. I was kind of hoping to be able to get by with that story with Avery. However, that child is a little slicker than I often give him credit for. Avery has no doubt in his mind there is more to the story than circus tricks. He will give you a play-by-play on request of all the action that the main man has being seeing lately. Sometimes, you don't even have to make a request.

Baseball is officially in the building. So far, not too much drama. I have seen some of the same stuff that I had hoped would disappear by this season. But, I guess I can't have it all. We will hang in there and hold our heads high even when it seems difficult to do so. Ethan is still in the outfield, but, he's just happy to play. He's not looking to the Major Leagues or anything. Isn't that the way it's supposed to be?

Avery, on the other hand, is a totally different man. He is obsessed with the game. He gets upset any time he doesn't complete a run or put a hit to the middle of nowhere. Maybe I am just too casual, but I think there are much larger things to worry about in life.

We need to send out some get well wishes to Austin Luther. It appeared he had hurt his arm badly at the last scrimmage game. We hope you will be on the mend soon.

Junior Taylor is on the sick list again. It seems he is fighting with some antibiotics. They just can't all play well together I suppose. We hope he gets well enough to attend his grandkid's games. They would love nothing more than to see their number one fan watching them play.

I have been without Internet access for about a week now. I am having serious withdrawal symptoms. It's traumatic for me being without Ebay for more than a few days at a time. So, I have been here and there to get all my Internet addiction time in. During that here and there time, I have found myself bidding on Buffett tickets. I had to; it was the only right thing to do. Any Parrothead out there knows the feeling.

Have a great week!
