FAYETTE MURDER TRIAL - A trial for a Fayette County man accused of killing three men with a semi-automatic rifle on a street continues.

Gary Martin of Victor faces three counts of felony murder in last May's shooting deaths of 24-year-old Carl Blaine Cox Jr., 23-year-old Christopher Lee Legg and 22-year-old Dustin Tyler Hughes.

Police reports said two of the victims were riding ATVs and a third was riding a dirt bike.

An argument between the 57-year-old Martin and the victims had ensued prior to the shootings.

MAN ARRESTED FOR SHOOTING DOG WITH ARROW - Upshur County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a Lewis County man on animal cruelty charges.

Deputies say David F. Brown, 29, of Jane Lew, shot a small dog with an arrow, the injury caused the dog to lose an eye.

Brown is charged with one felony count of cruelty to animals and was being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
