NATIONAL INFANT IMMUNIZATION WEEK APRIL 19-26

(04/19/2008)
National Infant Immunization Week is an annual observance to highlight the importance of protecting infants from vaccine-preventable diseases and celebrate the achievement of immunization programs in promoting healthy communities.

Vaccines are among the most successful and cost-effective public health tools available for preventing disease and death. They not only help protect vaccinated individuals, but also help protect entire communities by preventing and reducing the spread of infectious diseases.

National Infant Immunization Week is a perfect time to check with your doctor or nurse and see if your children's immunizations are up to date.
