Firemen dispatched to top of hill where fire spread

Three volunteer fire departments responded to a brush fire yesterday afternoon between Orma and Minnora along State Rt. 16.

Warm sunshine and a slight breeze fanned the flames.

The fire appeared to have started along the highway, but spread over several hillside acres before it was brought under control in about two hours.

The Upper West Fork, Grantsville and Big Otter VFDs answered the call.

It was the second call in two days for brush fires in the county.
