Molly Yoak makes nutrition presentation

Molly Yoak, Certified Dietary Manager at Minnie Hamilton Health System made a nutrition presentation to the Grantsville Guppies 4-H Club at their regular meeting April 3rd.

Yoak presented the USDA Food Pyramid for Children stressing the importance of eating a balanced diet.

Yoak used models to demonstrate proper serving sizes and had illustrations on how much fat is contained in the foods we eat every day.

Following the presentation 4-H members were treated to snacks of fruit juices, raw vegetables with dip and pretzels.
