Welcome back to the scene of the crime. What crime, you ask? I don't know, but whatever it is, fingers will be pointed my direction. But, that's OK, because I will never admit to any harmless mischief. Am I guilty or not? The answers shall remain a mystery forever. Perhaps I could be the 8th Wonder of the World since I keep them all guessing.

We've had some major drama at out house. It seems Avery misplaced his bat. Of course he chose not to take any responsibility of the bat's disappearance. He chose to blame yours truly. What am I going to do with a baseball bat? If you see me, it is very obvious that I am not a sports enthusiast. So, that should not even been considered a factor.

The last thing I recalled was yanking the bat out of Ethan's hands. Apparently, he thought knocking the cows unconscious would keep them out of the yard (had I known the bull had issues, I might've let him have the bat). (Refrain from calling the ASPCA, as this story is slightly exaggerated) Please take note that Ethan grabbed Avery's bat and not his own for this Bovine Control assignment. Anyway, the bat was found by SueAnn Stull at the ball field. So, a big thank you goes out to SueAnn for getting me off the hook.

I had actually begun to believe that I had something to do with the disappearance of the bat. I never admitted that thought though. However, when the bat resurfaced Avery did receive a complimentary "Responsibility Lecture" (this can be found in Kathy's Mom's Book of Lost Bats and Other Childhood Dramas).

My sources revealed a certain Glamour Technician will be celebrating her birthday this week. Chrystal will be turning 31 on April 16th. Please wish her a happy birthday, but remember, you didn't hear it from me. Last year, it was quite traumatic to her because she turned 30. Last year, I thought I was at the jumping off spot because I was 39. Now, I am cruising toward 40 and I feel like the best is right ahead of me. I had a complete attitude change and it made me see things in a different light. I realize 40 ain't' that bad.

Brenda Taylor was visiting her parents over the weekend. Unfortunately, we were unable to see her due to scheduling conflicts. We will try to make it down next time.

Brian is working at Harrison now. I don't' know where that plant is or what it does. Too many details for me to recall. I am good; however, at making sure the checks reach the bank. That's all the detail I need to keep track of.

Everything is getting green on Beason. We needed some color to brighten up the place. My daffodils (what's left of them) and a few hyacinths make my piece of the country a little more pleasant. I bought some new wind chimes and they add some gentle music to the pretty picture of spring. My kids feel they must bang them around occasionally and make them sound like death which removes the pleasantness out of the scene quickly.

I am leaving you with a brilliant quote which we all need to carry with us. "You come into this world alone, you go out of this world alone, and in between that, if you aren't showing up for yourself, you're not living your life"-the great Sheryl Crow.

Have a great week filled with many smiles and much laughter.
