Director Dennis Wemm's cast captures the magic of the play to such a degree, at times the audience may be questioning if "the scene" is part of the play, a dream, or the playwright working out the lines?

Ira Levin's award-winning play, Deathtrap, will be presented three successive nights beginning Wednesday, April 9. The event will be held in the College Administration Building Auditorium.

Myra Bruhl (Whitney Stalnaker) has a
frightening experience in her living room.

The play, set in 1978, revolves around a playwright-Sidney Bruhl-who has had a string of flops. The young man has written "the perfect five-character, one-set money maker." This is what has eluded Sidney.

Can he kill for success? Will he?

A collector of unusual items including handcuffs and
daggers, Sidney Bruhl (Chris Summers) helps young playwright
Clifford Anderson (Edmond White) into the Houdini handcuffs.

Tickets are available at the door. Students are admitted free, all others are $3. Showtime is 7 p.m. each night.

Because of staged violence and mild swearing, this play would earn a PG-13 rating as a movie.

Sarah Sivard takes the role
of Sidney's classy legal counsel.
