GILMER COUNTY RESIDENTS DOING STUDENT TEACHING

Glenville, WV - Three Gilmer County High School graduates are currently completing their student teaching requirements at Glenville State College.

Jennifer Lynn James, daughter of Elbon and Linda James of Normantown is doing her student teaching in English at Gilmer County High School with Traci Evans and Calhoun Middle School under teacher Linda Jarvis. Don Sheets and Dr. Gayle Burkowski are James's GSC supervisors.

Tony D. Minney of Glenville is the husband of Kyre Anna Minney and the son of Tom and Nancy Minney of Glenville. He is completing his student teaching in Elementary Education at Troy Elementary School with teacher Deborah Shackleford and in Social Studies at Gilmer County High School under Tina Foster. Minney's GSC supervisors are Dr. Michael Gherke and Mary Bland Strickland.

Amy Marie Riddle, daughter of Joyce and Randy Riddle of Glenville is doing her student teaching in Physical Education at Normantown and Troy Elementary Schools with cooperating teacher Diana Sharps and Calhoun County High School with teacher Tim Davis. Sandy Matthews is supervising Riddle for GSC.

All three students are scheduled to graduate from Glenville State College in May.
