Daddy was in Roane General Hospital for a few days last week he needed fluids and antibiotics for pneumonia and the kidneys.

He is back at Miletree Health Care now and will start rehabilitation. Uncle Shirley drove to Spencer to pick up Aunt Neil and they visited with Ray while he was in the hospital. Aunt Neil's daughter Karen called to see how Daddy was doing.

When Heather, the girls and I visited with him we thought he was getting better. Ruby was so sweet. She couldn't climb up close enough to kiss her great grandfathers cheek so she just laid her little head on his chest. All of us hope that he improves. I miss having him here at home.

I'm so happy to have finished with all this pig. I canned, froze and fried. I don't think I'll want any pork to eat for a while.

Glen Siers, Wanda Richards and her daughter Genie visited with me on Wednesday I gave them some sausage and I appreciate their concern for Daddy. Glen calls often to check on him.

Aunt Juanita called about Ray and I'm so sorry about the death of her sister Marie Arnold. Juanita is the last one. She seems to be doing alright and is still at home in Fayette County.

The lawn has been mowed and looks great. It always makes me feel better.

Charles Haverty stops by and asks about Ray.

Alicia Davisson came by to help me with sausage. I had so much to work up that I decided just to freeze it. Ermal Vaughan and Wanda told me it was just too much work frying and canning. Thanks Alicia for being here.

Everyone have a wonderful week!
