IT'S DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN - Clarksburg VA Nursing Home Fails Again

"It will never end, no never never end ..." State inspectors have turned up additional problems during the most recent inspection of West Virginia's new veterans nursing home at Clarksburg. The facility has been trying to open since, well, we can't remember when. Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety spokesman Joe Thornton says the home failed the early March inspection because of six new problems. Thornton also said inspectors found that 14 problems identified earlier hadn't been fixed to their satisfaction. The 120-bed home has been beset by problems ranging from construction to staffing and must pass inspection before it can receive its license.
