WIRT COUNTY RT. ONE (TUCKERS CREEK) WILL BE CLOSED

West Virginia Division of Highways has announced that Wirt CR 1, Tuckers Creek Road, will be closed at milepost 3.91 for bridge repair, according to Jason Nichols, Wirt County Highway Administrator. The road will remain closed to all traffic through Wednesday. Motorists should seek alternate routes during this time. It is anticipated that the roadway will reopen by 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. However, motorists should be advised that the duration of the closure could change due to inclement weather or unforeseen conditions.
