RT. 14 BRIDGE TRAFFIC DISRUPTION NEAR MINERAL WELLS

West Virginia Division of Highways has announced that the Barnett Bridge, 54-14-6.93 will be reduced to a single lane for inspection beginning today, according to Cliff Essig, District Three Bridge Engineer. "The Barnett Bridge located at the horseshoe curve on WV 14 near Mineral Wells will be reduced to a single lane from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each night throughout the week to facilitate an inspection," Essig said. "Flagging personnel will be present to direct traffic," Essig added. "Motorists traveling during these overnight hours may see a disruption in traffic flow; however, this was scheduled as a nighttime inspection to avoid more substantial daytime traffic delays." The inspection should be complete by Friday, March 21, 2008. However, please be advised that the schedule could change due to inclement weather or unforeseen conditions.
