| The Grantsville Police Department has issued a police report for February, 2008, according to Police Chief Charles Stephens.
The report says the department made three arrests: Dale King, registration violation; John Persinger, worthless check Gilmer County; Arthur Gibson, violation of domestic violence petition.
- Issued a warrant to Preston Ball for assault, domestic battery, driving suspended and fleeing, warrant served in Wirt County.
- Issued one juvenile petition for burglary, conspiracy, petit larceny and destruction of property.
- Department did seven criminal investigations.
- Issued two violations of town ordinances, breach of peace and a parking violation.
- Department made 28 traffic stops; issued 20 warnings and issued eight citations: Driving suspended; Improper lights, using blue lights; No registration; No operators license; Permitting no operators/failure to change address; Improper muffler; Improper registration/no registration; Improper registration/fraudulent MVI.
